According to the WHO, corona infections are increasing in 110 countries around the world.

“Corona infections are on the rise in 110 countries for the two variants, BA.4 and BA.5. He claims that in three of the eight regions linked to the WHO and the global rate of infection has lately grown by 20 percent. The head of the WHO has mandated that every nation immunize at least 60% of its people.

He added that in the last 18 months, 12 billion vaccines have been given to the world by the WHO. “Hundreds of millions of individuals, including tens of millions of health workers, have not received vaccinations,” declared Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus. 57 nations have thus far been successful in immunizing 80% of the populace.

Corona infection is also increasing in the state. In Bengal, two people have passed away in the past day, while 1,424 persons in West Bengal have contracted a corona. The majority of infections in the state are in Kolkata. There have been 589 corona infections in the past 24 hours. 36 victims were reported in North 24 Parganas, 6 in South 24 Parganas, 6 in Howrah, and 6 in Hooghly, among other areas.
