BTN News: Creative Assembly continues to tweak its epic strategy saga with fresh updates to Total War: Warhammer 3, a never-ending spectacle of delight and strategy. Announced more recently via a Discord message from a community manager, the next DLC pack will focus on Khorne, Ogre Kingdoms and Greenskins, and is slated for release later in the year. This move is a departure from previous expectations of a Slaanesh-themed refresh, which has promised to bring new content and experiences for fans.
Currently one character that has been a staple of the Warhammer tabletop universe since the 1980s is missing from the roster, Golgfag Maneater. The other factions for this expansion have yet to be revealed, meaning fans have little choice but to speculate as to who else will be represented.
Total War awaits new paid DLC, being created with “narrower” focus, combining depth with value, Total War’s head of community Adam Freeland has teased Aiming to keep both the value and pricing of the game well within reach for its loyal player base, this is a strategic choice.
In addition to the DLC, there are plans in the works for regular updates to fix bugs and improve the playability of the game. The development team has announced on Discord that they are focusing more on the base game (adding in all kind of stuff you can think of) until the DLC releases, with rare deviations to surprise the players with innovative ideas.
More info is expected from senior game director Richard Aldridge in an upcoming message that’s set for June 26. Furthermore, the free legendary hero title has passed to the three-headed daemon dog, Karanak, the Hound of Vengeance, which is a character that will tickle the funny bone of both newcomers and season veterans of the game as it makes its debut in update 5.1, set to go live by the end of September.
While this builds anticipation in the community, Total War: Warhammer 3 keeps releasing universe after universe, which means there are a action-packed series yet to be explore for the gamers on this strategic journey.
