BTN News: The countdown is almost over. In just a few hours, one of the year’s most anticipated events will take place: the wedding of Oriana Sabatini and Paulo Dybala. The couple will say “I do” this Saturday, July 20, at Dok Haras in Exaltación de la Cruz, Buenos Aires. The guest list includes 300 people, featuring family members, world champions, and various celebrities.
The bride’s mother, Catherine Fulop, is especially excited about the wedding. From the start, she has been deeply involved in the preparations, even accompanying Oriana to Milan for the final fittings of her wedding dress, designed by the prestigious Italian fashion house Dolce & Gabbana. As the big day approaches, Fulop couldn’t hide her happiness and chose to share an emotional excerpt from a letter she wrote to her daughter, capturing her feelings before this significant moment.
“Finally, the big day has arrived, my little girl! Fragments of the letter to my daughter who is getting married today… To be honest, I’m not good at writing, but I know you are an essential and super special part of my life, and I think this is a good moment to tell you,” Fulop began her heartfelt post.
“I always dreamed of you, you already lived in my heart, Oriana; you are part of my dreams, and the day I knew you were on the way, you can’t imagine how my heart raced. You grew inside me, and I confess I was very scared. It was important for me to breastfeed you, but I didn’t know if I would succeed… I breastfed you for three years. I thought that breastfeeding would develop in you a superior sensitivity, empathy, and kindness towards all beings in this world. I wanted you to be the best person anyone could ever meet,” she continued.
Fulop shared more of her emotions: “And one day you arrived. When I held you in my arms, I knew you were mine. Mine? Time would tell me that life only lent you to me for a while to light up your path. That day, you were the materialization of the love that united me with your father. It was so powerful to look into your denim-grey eyes, I swear they were like a greyish blue, transmitting so much purity and harmony. I couldn’t stop looking at you. You were the materialization of love, that intense love of your father and me. It was sublime to have you; you were our love. Ori is love! I will always be there for you. I miss the house full of noise, my little tornado, so friendly with your friends, so full of dreams and fun… life by your side was truly beautiful, full of excitement.”
She also expressed her trust in Oriana’s choice of partner. “I fully trust the decision you are making to marry Paulo. I feel that you saw his kindness, the humanity of his heart, the good father he can be for your children if God blesses you with that joy. I hope with all my heart that he loves you as much as your father loved me and us all this time. I can only bless you, daughter; may God and the Virgin bless you and your future husband. God bless this union. I love you forever,” Fulop concluded.
Her words were accompanied by a video of the moment the AS Roma forward proposed to the singer at the Trevi Fountain. The post moved many, including the bride. “I love you,” Oriana replied.
As the wedding draws near, fans are eagerly awaiting to see the bride’s dress, designed by Dolce & Gabbana in Italy. To ease the anticipation, Oriana surprised everyone by sharing a glimpse of her wedding preparations. This Saturday morning, the influencer posted a selfie in her Instagram Stories, taken in front of the bathroom mirror. She was seen in a black robe with a headband, and notably, she used a bride emoji, hinting at the special occasion.
