SAS presented its schedule for the 2022/2023 boreal winter season to the United States and Spain, important business and leisure markets for Scandinavian travellers.
According to data obtained by Aviacionline through Cirium, for this winter SAS will have an offer of 32,996 weekly seats between the Scandinavian capitals and seven destinations in the United States in 136 operations. In addition, it will reinforce its offer in Spain with two new services to Tenerife – South (TFS).
USA
North America is the main intercontinental market for SAS, and this winter it will offer more destinations in the US compared to the season before the pandemic. Seasonal service to Miami (MIA) will again be available and will be served from Copenhagen (CPH), Stockholm (ARN) and Oslo (OSL).
The service to Boston (BOS) will be operated for the first time in the winter season with six weekly flights on Airbus A321LR and will have an offer of 1,884 seats. SAS is the only airline to connect Scandinavia with Logan Airport (BOS).

- Boston – Copenhague Flight SK 927 CPH 12:50 – BOS 15:25 every day except Tuesdays.
- Copenhague – Boston Flight SK 928 BOS 17:25 – CPH 06:50+1 every day except Tuesdays.
Services from Copenhagen (CPH) and Stockholm (ARN) to Toronto – Pearson (YYZ) will not be available during the 2022/2023 winter season.

- Copenhagen (CPH): six times a week on Airbus A350-900.
Los Angeles (LAX)
- Copenhagen (CPH): six times a week on Airbus A350-900.

The company will have an offer of 14,946 weekly seats from four Scandinavian cities to six Spanish destinations. In addition, it adds more capacity to the Canary Islands from Copenhagen (CPH) and Stockholm (ARN).
According to data compiled by Aviacionline through Aena Statistics, between January and September of this year SAS moved 1,098,818 passengers and 49.7 tons of cargo in 7,836 operations in Spain.
