Bright Times News: In the Koffee With Karan 7 season finale, Tanmay Bhatt, Danish Sait, Kusha Kapila, and Niharika NM were welcomed as guests by Karan Johar in addition to serving as judges for the Koffee Awards. The programme touched on Karan Johar’s practice of mentioning Alia Bhatt in nearly every episode.
Karan Johar questioned, “They claim I talk a lot about Alia Bhatt, do I?” This was Danish’s ROFL response: “I saw Brahmastra, in which Alia Bhatt repeatedly screams, “Shiva… Shiva.” You mentioning Alia is the televised equivalent of that.” During the programme, Karan Johar disclosed that Alia Bhatt had also informed the director that he can no longer mention her by name.
Later in the programme, when Karan Johar contacted Alia Bhatt to congratulate her and Ranveer Singh on winning the Koffee With Karan 7 Best Episode award, he also informed her that the committee had reprimanded him for repeatedly mentioning her by name.
Alia said, “Even I told you that.” You basically can never use my name again, the actress continued. You must swear you’ll never do it. Alia remarked, “Just be terrible to me from now on. KJo then suggested that they have a Twitter brawl. Let’s have a fallout, Alia retorted.
Danish Sait asked Alia Bhatt over the phone if she would be willing to recite her most well-known line from the film Brahmastra, “Shiva.” Being a good sport, Alia actually said the conversation. She made light of the fact that she suggested Ayan Mukerji that there could be a drinking contest based on how many times her character Isha refers to Shiva in the film Brahmastra.
Along with Varun Dhawan and Sidharth Malhotra, Alia Bhatt was introduced to the Bollywood film industry by Karan Johar in 2012’s Student Of The Year. Her most recent appearance was in the Dharma Productions film Brahmastra. In the movie Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani, which also stars Ranveer Singh, Alia will collaborate with KJo once more.
